Join us for Green Thumbs & Tiny Greens, a hands-on, family-friendly event where kids and parents can discover the magic of microgreens!
In partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of St. Marys, Dickinson’s Children Center, the Community Education Center, and Penn State Extension Master Gardeners, this event will take families on an interactive journey to learn about and grow their own nutrient-packed microgreens!
What to expect:
- Visit local organizations and participate in fun, hands-on activity stations
- Learn how to plant and care for your own microgreens
- Take home your very own microgreen growing kit
- Wrap up the experience at the Boys & Girls Club, where you can sample a delicious microgreens snack prepared by the Cooking Club!
This is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and taste something new as a family! Don’t miss out on this fresh and fun experience!
Location: Various Stations – Start at CEC, then go to Dickinson Children Center, and end at Boys & Girls Club of St. Marys.
